Vilaco JSC and Haiphong Businesswoman Club donated gifts and uniforms for upland students on the occasion of the new academic year
Thuong Ha is a poor commune of Bao Lac District, Cao Bang Province, has 19 villages, mostly in highland and ethnic Dao & Mong. Complex terrain, steep slopes and small stream basin cause flash floods, tube floods in the rainy season which affect transport and agricultural production of people in the region. Until now, life of people here are still very difficult and needy, roads and transportation are not convenient. Overcoming physical challenges, the students here are filled with laughter and eagerness to attend the ceremony to welcome the new school year.
Our charitable delegation was also present very early to keep up attending the opening ceremony of the new school year, after the leaning exchanges about life, family situation, leaning conditions of the students here, the group presented many meaningful gifts for them, including 325 uniforms, 325 gift bags for the students, 66 gifts for teachers, 21 gifts for good students, 09 clocks, and many old clothes from lowland donators.
These gifts were small but have contributed to join hands and efforts to share and encourage families and students who have difficulty in learning to overcome difficulties to realize “The go to school dream”.
