1. Why do we need to wash blankets regularly?
Blankets, bed sheets, pillows, cushions are items that we come into contact with every day and directly affect our health. If you do not clean them regularly, they are very easy to become the residence of pathogens and bacteria caused by dirt. The pathogens that exist on your blankets, pillows, mattresses, and beds are typically:

Tiny dust particles: Indoor dust is one of the main causes of common diseases in children and adults. Long-term exposure to dust and dirt will make you susceptible to respiratory and dermatological diseases.
Bed bugs:   Bed bugs live by sucking human blood and live directly on your bed. The traces created by bedbugs will cause rashes, long-term allergies become severe dermatitis.
Dust mites:  They survive by eating dead human skin. When you breathe in the feet of dust mites, it will be difficult to avoid respiratory problems, asthma.
Mold, bacteria:  Mold and bacteria are small but can attack your body at any time. They are often found on bedding and carry dangerous pathogens.
Therefore, you need to clean your bedding on a regular basis to keep your bedding clean and ensure the health and safety of family members.

2. How often should we wash blankets once?
Regular cleaning of bed sheets will help you have a clean, healthy bed sheet set, but how often you should wash it will depend on many factors. Washing too much can also reduce the life of the blanket, so you should only thoroughly clean them 1-2 times a year. The appropriate frequency of washing bedding for each type is as follows:

Blanket filling: 1 year/time
Pillowcase: 3 months/time
Pillowcase & bed sheet: 1-2 weeks/time
Blanket: every 4 months
Cushion: every 6 months
3. Instructions on How to Wash White Sheets Clean Like New
White fabrics bring a sense of the beauty of minimalism, timeless sophistication. Therefore, you can be quite disappointed when you see your beautiful white bedding turns yellow over time. Check out the helpful tips in this article that will help you keep your favorite white bedding sets as white as new!

Special instructions for white embroidered bedding

Delicately styled bedding with lace and embroidered when washed should be wrapped in a large thin mesh bag. The mesh bag protects your duvet during the washing and drying process.

If a mesh pocket isn't available, turn the duvet and pillowcase upside down to protect the embroidery, which also makes ironing easier.

Cotton Bed Sheets: Wash in Warm Water

Cotton is a natural fiber with good strength, so it is best to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. Do not use bleach. It is better to air dry but not in direct sunlight or lights to avoid fading. If there is a shortage of space for natural drying, you can use the drying mode if the pillowcase and blanket have no buttons and embroidery. Cotton linens that are too dry will shrink, so dry cotton fabrics on low heat and take them out of the dryer while they are still slightly cool.

Linen Bedding: Cold Water Wash

Never wash more than 30°C for linen bedding. Avoid using chlorine-based bleach, as they yellow and damage the fabric. In the event that  white linen bedding  (without embroidery) turns yellow, you can use a mild detergent. Linen is made from the flax plant, which has the property of absorbing more water during washing than other fibers, so watch out for overloading in the washing machine. Again, if you don't have the space to air dry, you can use the tumble dry setting, but only for pillowcases that don't have buttons and embroidery.

Blankets & Blankets: Dry Cleaning

For  silk bedding, dry clean only or gently hand wash with mild detergents specifically for silk fabrics. Of course, never use bleach to remove stains. Do not use the drying mode on silk fabrics at all. Instead, use a towel to absorb the water, then hang it to dry. Note, do not dry silk bedding in direct sunlight. Use a steam iron at warm temperature.

Use fabric softener to soak bedding

A simple way to wash a long-lasting scented blanket at home is impossible without using fabric softener. Fabric softeners both create a fragrance for the blanket, while helping to soften the fabric and prevent the blanket from drying out after washing.

In order for fabric softener to soak into each fabric and keep the fragrance longer, you should soak the bedding in the conditioner for a certain time, usually about 10-15 minutes. You can use a one-time rinse or a regular rinse depending on your preference.

Necessary information

Treat coffee stains:  In case you like to have breakfast in bed, if unfortunately coffee spills, wash it right away or at least rinse the sheets under cold running water. Warm water can cause protein stains to set prematurely, even coffee stains will be difficult to remove from white bedding if you use warm water to wash them.

Wash bedding and pillows separately: wash the pillowcases separately, not with towels or clothes to avoid stains. Fluffy is a phenomenon that occurs when the cotton fibers are broken and tangled, resulting in tiny ruffles. Catherine Denoual Maison brand beddingsmade from 100% super-long cotton yarn to not break and clump like other short-fiber fabrics.

Keeping white bedding always beautiful: remember to always wash your entire white bedding set. If you wash your pillowcases more often than others, the bedding will gradually lose its beautiful uniformity.

If you want beautiful bedding like a 5-star hotel? Lightly iron the sheets, spread the sheets on the bed, lightly splash the water with spray and then iron on medium heat.

4. Effective washing and drying tips for white bedding
1. Separate the white bedding styles. Pure white, ivory... if washed together, the risk of rubbing is minimal but still present.

2. Wash your pillowcases regularly at least every 10 days to avoid yellowing.

3. Use   Mild Laundry Detergent: bleach and water/detergent with strong bleaching ingredients can damage your bedding set.

4. When the bedspread appears dirty? Mix half a cup of vinegar with a gallon of warm water in a large pot or bucket. Soak your bed sheets in the solution for an hour. Then, machine wash or hand wash with mild detergent. Let the sheets dry to remove the vinegar smell.

5. Natural drying compared to drying: Natural drying will be better because it is less wrinkled and helps blankets and pillows last longer. If you do not have the conditions to dry naturally, you can use a dryer, but be careful to only dry on a low setting and remove before completely drying.
